Fiori

We had an amazing, amazing trip to Paris to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Everything was perfect and I don't even know where to begin writing about it so I'm just going to start with the flowers in the hotel.

Flowers in the hotel... seems a bit boring I know, but not when the hotel spends over a million a year on flowers and employs Jeff Leatham, one of the top floral designers in the world. Take a look at the pictures... truly breathtaking. I'm totally copying this someday (on a much smaller scale of course).

  1. What is the name of this hotel? ... not that I'd ever get a chance to stay there. :-)

  2. Hey Lauren, Thanks for thinking of me! These are awesome and I have a wedding to do this weekend so these will help keep me inspired. LOVE Them... Wish I had a million $ budget so I could show this guy up! Lol jk. I hope you all are doing well. Can you believe it's been 7 years since Columbus. Wow!

  3. Love the clusters of blossoms tucked together -- makes the flower head as large as one of the world's greatest flowers, the mississippi magnolia!

  4. How interesting to have the "bunch" of flowers at an angle with just the ends in the water.

Are those purple flowers hanging upside down from the wire frame?

    Fantastic!

  5. Actually the flowers clustered together were as big as a beach ball!
The purple flowers were hanging from the frame with their roots in the water. Under the roots was another purple flower-- under the water. Pretty creative!
